| MALTA’S DRAMA LIST

I’ve watched many, many dramas in the years since I started watching Asian dramas. Mostly because I was on vacation unemployed for a while when my drama addiction first started (this was a few years ago), I’m a serial marathoner, and I have a love/hate/love relationship with sleep.

As for my rating system…I’m pretty good at choosing to watch what I think I’ll enjoy. I think there are a lot of average dramas made. They can be entertaining and have their shinning moments, but not necessarily stellar. With so many dramas made, it makes sense that there would be so many of these kinds.
✭✭✭✭ Guage my eyes out.
✭✭✭✭✭ Probably just wasted my time.
✭✭✭✭✭ Average – A lot of dramas get this rating…some good/great parts and some bad/annoying parts
✭✭✭✭ Really enjoyed it – recommend watching it.
✭✭✭✭✭ Loved it – quality stuff – highly recommend watching it.
The one’s I really love that hold a special place in my drama watching journey regardless of their rating.

Tree with Deep Roots – I totally recommend it! Is a drama with less love affair and much intellectual fights than any other drama I watched (and in the last year I watched a lot of drama :D).

  2. :O Youre not even considering Queen Inhyun’s Man Malta?

    • How could I not?! I’m in the middle of watching it. I’m on episode 10. I’m jealous that ladida and others have experienced the full drama, but I’m also super excited that I have 6 more wonderful, glorious episodes to savor before it’s all over. I’ve purposely been avoiding ladida’s post because I don’t want any spoilers. I have heaps upon heaps of love for that drama! tvN is my favorite channel. Love their dramas.

…I have to work on trying to keep this list updated :)

Could you please keep uptading this list? :D I really like it!

  4. I have a feeling that BBJX will remain on my top 3… it’s soooo poetic, with characters who want to fight back in whatever way they could, with intelligence that ordinary people would love to have… but still spiral to ruin based on decisions that they made themselves, with all their intelligence! It’s wonderfully terrifying and heart-breaking… and boy, if I don’t have my faith I don’t know what hope I would have for this world after watching that— i mean come on! the smartest people in the world yet they are broken at the end of their lives, all but a shell *shudders*

    • That drama is so deep. It really swept me away. I was actually crying at times and the emotional toll was too much for me. I had to stop. Great drama.

hello! have you tried Biscuit Teacher Star Candy on Dramacrazy? the quality isn’t the best, but passable :)

Try ‘Wife’s Credential’ and ‘Happy ending,’ Realistic stories with great story lines and acting. At the end of each episode in Happy Ending, viewers write in about their own experiences with their fathers/mothers which are quite moving. After this one, you do need some mindless caricature-like rom-com to bring you back to silliness of it all. Enjoy!

“A wife’s credentials” is my favorite dramas of all time. It’s a beautiful drama.
